Terribly disappointed with Snapdeal. Tried to buy a product on their site on December 4. The transaction did not go through and no order ID was generated BUT the amount was deducted from my account.
This issue is apparently so common on their site, they even have an FAQ on it: http://www.snapdeal.com/info/faq/Payments
So since this is a known issue, they have a process in place to refund the money right? NO. Been going around in circles with their support service (terrible by the way) but no refund in sight. Ironically, their payment gateway is called TrustPay and is supposed to protect customers. Hah!
Update: According to one (very rude) customer support rep, Trustpay is their company but deductions from Trustpay are not their responsibility. Brilliant excuse!
