Some more info on the new #ingress Portal MODs. Check www.nianticproject.com for codes this week. These MODs should start becoming available via Portal hacks in a week or two as lab scientists verify that this technology won't explode and destroy humanity.
Force Amp
The Force Amp is a MOD that increases the power of Portal attacks by a factor or N times.
Turret
The Turret is a MOD that increases the frequency of Portal attacks by a factor of N times.
Heat Sink
The Heat Sink is a MOD that reduces the cooldown period between Portal hacks.
Multi-hack
The Multi-hack is a MOD that increases the number of times a player can hack the same Portal before it burns out.
Link Amp
The Link Amp is a MOD that increases the maximum distance of potential Links from a Portal.
