If you’re looking for a way to control which values can be entered into a spreadsheet (for accurate and consistent collecting), look no further than our “data validation” feature. With today’s update to Google Sheets, we’ve made data validation even easier and more intuitive.
Say you need to track who brings what for a group trip. Just create a spreadsheet and use data validation to customize a drop-down list of what’s needed -- for the beach, for activities, for first aid. As you type into a cell, autocomplete will filter options to find what you’re looking for and keep data entries nice and neat.
