Google I/O registration opens up on March 13, 2013 at 7:00 AM PDT
I attended Google I/O for the first time in 2012 and it almost instantly became my very favorite tech event of the year. (And that's coming from an Apple fangirl who drools a bit whenever the folks in Cupertino announce a new gadget!)

This year, Google I/O will take place May 15-17. Considering that the event sold out in about 20 minutes last year, you better be waiting at the keyboard right as registration opens up on March 13, 2013 at 7:00 AM PDT.

You’ll need a Google+ account and a Google Wallet buyer account to register. Tickets will cost $900 for general attendees and $300 for academic attendees. (If the prices seems steep, keep in mind that — on top of the great experience of the event itself — Google I/O attendees always get all sorts of goodies. Last year they received a Galaxy Nexus, a Nexus 7, and a Nexus Q.)
