What would make Google+ better for YOU?

Almost everyone has ideas about how to improve Google+. You might have found something that feels clumsy to you or does not work the way you think if should. Perhaps you have an idea for a small enhancement that would improve your Google+ experience. Or maybe you have a big idea for expanding Google+ into a whole new area.

Whatever it is, Google wants to know! That is why they included "Send feedback" in Google+: to give you a way to share your ideas directly with the Google+ team.

You can access "Send feedback" in any of the following ways:
-- Click the gear icon at the top of your Stream and select "Send feedback."
-- Click the "Send feedback" link at the bottom of the "About" section on the left side of a community page.
-- Type "@"(without the quotation marks) outside of a text-entry field on any Google+ page.

Some important things to keep in mind when submitting your ideas:
-- Just saying you do not like something is not a big help. Suggest what you would do to improve it or at least explain why you do not like it.
-- It generally helps to describe an example of how a problem occurs or how a new function would be used.
-- Positive feedback helps because it lets the Google+ team know when they did something right.
-- It is best to send your feedback from the page you would like to see changed because "Send feedback" takes a screenshot and lets you highlight the affected part. (Note that it also lets you black out any information you consider personal or private.)
-- It is generally better to submit multiple feedbacks with one idea each rather than sending a whole list so individual ideas do not get lost.
-- Do not hold off because you are sure other people have suggested the same thing. The number of people suggesting a change helps the team understand how important it is.

We have already seen proof that Google listens to users. The Google+ team has delivered many improvements to Google+ that were tied directly to user feedback. On the other hand, we have to remember that Google has a vision for what Google+ will become and some things that people might request will not fit into that vision. Henry Ford made an excellent point about the relationship between a vision and user requests when he said: "“If I had asked people what they wanted, they would have said faster horses.”

  1. when going through your notifications, it would be easier to search everything based on date/month/year/week/day instead of going through a huge tiring list of reading your notifications.

  3. dipen chheda couldn't understand your question. Do you mean you can't see posts when you click on someone's profile?

Marquis Crumpton nice suggestion. Do send it via the Send Feedback option.
