Credit Card Trees

Credit Card Trees

It takes a while to get used to this technique and I still haven't figured out the right strength of color I need for the right texture. The second tree is probably closest to the texture I'm looking for.

  1. I like it Pooja.  Why is it called a credit card technique?

  2. The texture is created using a credit card. You use a (preferably old :-D) credit card with edges roughed out (use sandpaper or any rough surface). You use the credit card to scrape the color from the palette and apply it on paper.
