cool! i just tagged you in a blogger post, Meirav M., but i deliberately didn't share to G+ so that we can see what kind of notification you get without relying on the G+ end of it.
meg dunn Meirav M. it gives you the option to share with the person mentioned in the blog post right after you publish the post. If you cancel that, no notification is sent. You can also share to that person + public to let others know you've posted about this person.
The way I see myself using it is for +ing art pages I follow or if I've posted about a sketchcrawl and want to include the people who were with me. Readers will be able to click through to their profile to see if they've shared anything about the same event.
Pooja Srinivas oh, interesting - so you can tag a person without sending a notification if you want? that sounds useful, actually I think we could do with that option here on plus too. There are times when you tag someone not because you want to draw their attention to a post but because you want to give someone a link to that person's profile, as in "oh, you're interested in such-and-such, you need to check out so-and-so's profile".
Thanks, now can we finally have Google+ as Blogger's comments system - at least as an option...?
