Yesterday, Art Project released an update to the site so that the whole site runs more smoothly. We've also added some refinements based on the feedback we've been receiving the past few months.
For example, you can now view User Galleries' description by clicking on the "Details" button next to the user gallery name. You can now read users' description of any public user gallery and understand the reasons of this selection better!
Below is the user gallery " Venus: A Commentary on Beauty through the Centuries ", on view here: http://g.co/artproject/p9mf
If you click on "Details", you can read an introduction to the user gallery, written by its creator: http://g.co/artproject/mq2n
" Venus, the Roman goddess of Love and Beauty, is one of the most produced figures in the art world. Venus is supposed to be the epitome of idealized beauty. In this exhibit, one can see that while some elements remain similar, the definition of what is beautiful can change across time and culture. "
