ReplyDeleteThat is hysterical. Morgan tells me that mathematicians and scientists seem to use Comic Sans pretty often, for some odd reason.
ReplyDeleteComic Sans, like many non-serif fonts, are harder to read. A study has shown that sans-serif fonts, specifically Comic Sans, therefore increase comprehension. Thus, it's actually a valid choice for scientific papers, albeit misleading.
ReplyDeleteIf Professor Brian Cox says it is the right font, I see no further room for argument.
ReplyDeleteOf course, he could have seen that some people need "wound up" on occasion and as a very clever person, he may well have a sense of humour.
