Hi Pooja. Maybe you could help me understand a little more about ownership of files uploaded? Because this article has me a little concerned about Google Drive....
Alfie Goodrich This is the most relevant part: "You retain ownership of any intellectual property rights that you hold in that content. In short, what belongs to you stays yours."
Thanks. Having now read a bunch of other articles and all the comments on that CNET piece, I think it's just the usual paranoia. I just think it might be cool if a service provider actually came out and displayed - by showing some example - of how content was used to 'promote or run its services'. Small print is notoriously hard to read for the layman and the layman is the one using the service.
Interesting - the link to the google blog page didn't open in Chrome, but it did in Firefox.
ReplyDeleteHow come? Did it lead to an error?
ReplyDeletenope - just a white screen.
ReplyDeleteWeird, when I go to the google blog from within google reader, it shows up just fine.
You are just not ready for it! :-P
