At the heart of Ingress beats the Portal network. Agents around the world have reviewed millions of Portals via Operation Portal Recon (OPR) since it was released. This has resulted in a plethora of new Portals coming online globally.
We are excited to announce our next phase of OPR - the ability to analyze Portal edits.
Starting today, Agents in New Zealand will be able to analyze edits submitted that relate to a Portal’s name, description, and location.
As we adjust the system based on feedback, we will expand this feature to more countries. Agreements for edits will not count towards the Recon medal at this time.
