Khan Academy offers free devices and internet access for eligible schools participating in LearnStorm 2015
LearnStorm is open to learners in 3rd Grade through 12th Grade, who live or attend school in one of the following ten Bay Area counties: Alameda, Contra Costa, Marin, Napa, San Francisco, San Mateo, Santa Clara, Santa Cruz, Solano, and Sonoma.
If more than half of your school’s students are in the Free and Reduced Lunch Program, your school is eligible to unlock rewards that will better ensure every kid, no matter their circumstances, is able to engage with and succeed in LearnStorm.
If you...
Attend an eligible school,
Your school signs up over half of its students, and
Each student completes over half an hour in the challenge
then you’ll unlock free devices (e.g., chromebooks) and home internet access for your students!
Google.org will fully fund up to one free laptop cart plus 30 devices for every 150 students at your school through DonorsChoose.org.
Internet Essentials from Comcast will fully fund 6 months of free home internet access for all eligible students and their families.
