Set Reminders from Chrome Desktop
Did you know that you could set reminders from your desktop browser?
I've always used my phone to easily set reminders with voice search in Google Now, but now you can do it all from your computer and get alerted on your phone. It's like magic!
Awesome! Does it get imported to Google keep as well?
ReplyDeleteArjun Shenoy, last I checked, they weren't.
ReplyDeleteI feel that Keep is still the better reminder system (and you can create them on desktop, too).
The Google Now reminders are quite limited. They improved slightly recently, but I don't know why such a core feature functions the way it does (not very well, heh--not in a buggy way, just in a "this wasn't designed well" way).
I know that's a bit critical, but I expect more from Google.
[And yeah, I do submit feedback to them about it. Sometimes they just don't change things, though.]
Bruce Achterberg you can create Google Now reminders on the desktop now.
ReplyDeleteI understand; I was just saying that they aren't synced with Keep reminders, and that Keep is probably the better system to use for most people.
ReplyDeletePooja Srinivas I used to be able to do this, but now all of a sudden I can't - can you still set reminders through chrome?
