  1. It seems it just make a restricted post to give the recipients a link to the file. It is not setting the access control. In other words, the recipient won't have the file under "Files Shared with you". Instead he needs to use the link he sees in the G+ stream to open the file every time.

  2. The recipient will see the doc/slide in the list once they view the doc.

  3. Pooja Srinivas Ah that's good. That means the next time he can find it inside Drive without the link, right? And is he automatically added to the access list?

  4. Yes, that's correct. And if they don't have access to the doc (as in you share a restricted doc to Public) they will see the option to request access instead.

  6. Fernando Miguel this request access option has been in Drive for a very long time. Today's launch just adds the ability to view docs/slides/sheets in your stream.
