Have you had problems connecting to hangout because of your bandwidth speed?

Here's one of my big pink arrow guides on *How to choose low bandwidth in hangouts!*

Easy peasy to do, click on settings on your hangout (the cog up the top right hand corner) then use the drop down menu to choose Slow connection.

You'll notice that the profile pictures of everyone appears at the bottom of the hangout rather than the video feed and the only video that will be displayed apart from your own will be whomever is speaking or blue-boxed (clicked on their icon at the bottom of the hangout to make them the focus of the hangout)

Remember to click on Save settings at the bottom of the screen and voilà! A lower bandwidth hangout.
