ITINERARY :
Day 1(15th Sept 2012):The guests will be picked up from Kalka Rly. station . Kalka Shatabdi arrives at Kalka Station at 11.45 am hrs .After driving for around five hours we shall arrive at Shoja. Explore the beautiful hill village in the evening. Overnight at the guest house. (D)
Day 2(16th Sept 2012):Morning enjoy the village walks near the guest house and birding with our bird guide.Overnight at the guest house.( B/L/D)
Day 3(17th Sept 2012):After breakfast we shall leave for Jalori pass trek with picnic lunch.Jalori pass Trek (10280 feet) is one of the highest passable points in the Himalayas. Famous also for a Mahakali temple known as Jalori Mata which attracts thousands of devotees from the nearby villages. This trek will offer the awesome view of the local area as you cross the ridge and try and unravel several historic legends.Evening return to the guest house.Overnight stay at the guest house.(B/L/D)
Day 4(18th Sept 2012):Morning, after breakfast, drive from Shoja to Goshaini (1 hr) for a delightful homestay on the banks of the Tirthan River, which is crossed in a hand pulled pulley over the gushing river! The setting is picture perfect amidst apple orchards and high mountains and a river full of trout. Ideal for relaxing, sharing stories around the fireplace or going for long walks in the surrounding countryside adjoining the Great Himalayan National Park. Overnight stay at the Guesthouse. ( B/L/D)
Day 5(19th Sept 2012):Full day trek in Great Himalayan National Park with our bird guide.Overnight at the guest house ( B/L/D)
Day 6(20th Sept 2012):Full day trek in Great Himalayan National Park with your bird guide.Overnight stay at the guest house. (B/L/D)
Day 7(21st Sept 2012):After breakfast, drive to Kalka (6 -7 hrs) to connect the train to Delhi (Kalka Shatabdi at 1745 hrs). Tour ends.(B)
