One of the much-awaited features. You can now post to your Google+ Page via the mobile app. Try it out (you will need to update the app, sign out, and sign in again to see the list of Pages you have access to) and post a comment here.

New in the mobile app: support for Google+ pages
Today we're rolling out v3.2 of the Google+ app to Android and iOS; both versions include one of our most highly-requested features: support for Google+ pages. This gives page owners the ability to post, comment, and interact with their followers directly from their mobile device.
Additionally:
- The Android version includes an updated widget, and a new 'Find People' experience.
- The iOS version adds iPhone 5 and iOS 6 support, and the ability to edit your posts.
The new app is available now from Google Play (http://goo.gl/xaxMx) and the App Store (http://goo.gl/RVv2S), so give it a spin and let us know what you think!

Pooja Srinivas High time for G+ page support. I have not visited my pages in ages mainly since you needed PC for that every time.
ReplyDeleteBTW, I have some complaints about Google Maps and whom can you refer me to. I mean I find that the functionality of Maps has been deteriorating in terms of how I can contribute to the maps while user conveniences are increasing.
Earlier I could edit and add features on Google Maps. Now I cant do it either on chrome or phone app. There are lots of features where I live which are not mapped by Google which I would happily work to improve but I cant.
Have you tried http://www.google.com/mapmaker Able Lawrence Let me know if still have trouble editing locations.
ReplyDeleteThanks.
ReplyDeleteOne more problem. Despite the claim the syncing between mobile and web (logged in) version is not good. Lot of stuff is not showing up in mobile search and navigation. There are also differences in routes suggested by both. Even the web version is refusing to move to the correct route despite my best effort to drag it. Instead it is literally tying itself up in Knots! You must see to believe it
Can you send feedback with examples you may have seen.
ReplyDeletePooja Srinivas Sure. Will do it when I am free. The navigation in India is still alpha in most place. Will need a lot of user input to improve. The apple fiasco has made me more aware of these
ReplyDeleteHi Pooja, Trying to reach you to discuss my online prsence. Let me know how. Thanks - Kanupriya
ReplyDeleteKanupriya Sinha I'm traveling and won't be available during India hours until Monday. Can you get in touch with Githanjali or email weowindia@google.com.
